We Support Nancy Taylor
"Nancy has proven her leadership and ability to advocate hard for the Town and we can’t give that up now!" -- Susan L. Moran, State Senator
"As a lifelong resident of and professional in Falmouth, Nancy Taylor has a tremendous understanding of the needs of our town. Indeed, Nancy has not only proven herself to be a true leader in Falmouth, always with the best interests of the town as her priority, she also is gifted with an extremely unique quality of extraordinary foresight. In this regard, she is consistently capable of analyzing all possible factors and outcomes, and accurately forecasting what lies ahead. You can do no better than Nancy Taylor for Select Board."
-- Mary Whalen Gans, Esq. , Falmouth, MA "I am pleased to strongly endorse the re-election of Nancy Taylor for a seat on the Falmouth Select Board. Her demonstrated experience, her commitment to the Town and her willingness to represent all, qualify her well for the Board."
-- Dr. Robert V. Antonucci “We wholeheartedly support Nancy Taylor’s re-election to the Select Board. While serving as the assistant superintendent of schools Nancy volunteered to help Teaticket Elementary School when we were without a Principal. Although she had a busy schedule and an important job for the district she managed to support the Teaticket building when we needed it. Her kind and caring way made everyone feel at ease in a difficult time. Nancy knew everyone’s names and made it a priority to speak to all of us. Her professionalism was invaluable. Nancy was at school early everyday walking the grounds to make sure things were safe for the students and staff before we arrived. Safety was always at the top of her list. She met with small groups of teachers to hear their concerns which helped with morale and then acted swiftly to correct these issues. Nancy’s office door was always open and everyone felt valued. She left our school in a better place than she found it. Falmouth is lucky to have Nancy’s expertise, she is very dedicated to our school system and town.”
-- Carrie Shanahan, Erin Crapo and Stacey Boudrot |
"I wholeheartedly support Nancy Taylor's candidacy for re-election to the Falmouth Select Board. She has repeatedly demonstrated her proven leadership both within the Falmouth Public Schools and on the Select Board." -- Dylan Fernaandes, State Representative
"From Superintendent of Schools to Select Board Chair, Nancy has proven her leadership. She has shown a steadfast commitment to our community. Her tireless efforts have made a difference to countless individuals in Falmouth both young and old. Her dedication to the governance of our town inspires confidence and trust in the citizens of Falmouth."
-- Sharon Reid, East Falmouth, MA 02536 "I fully endorse Nancy Taylor’s candidacy. During the many years I have known and worked with Nancy, she has always demonstrated exemplary leadership, ethics, integrity, and professionalism. Nancy is poised and possessed of a great sense of humor. She solicits input from colleagues and constituents, listens carefully and evaluates suggestions thoughtfully in her current role, often under challenging circumstances. Nancy is able to diversify her approach without losing sight of the Town’s best interest regardless of the popularity – or unpopularity -- of a decision. These qualities in a leader are essential for fair decision-making." -- Anne Barnes, LICSW

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Upper Cape Women’s Coalition is very pleased to endorse Nancy R. Taylor in Falmouth’s town election on MAY 16, 2023.
This endorsement is based on the candidate’s response to questions posed by UCWC members in a personal interview and assessment of the candidate’s positions on issues of concern as reported by the candidate’s website and announcements. We contacted all known candidates for this position, some of whom did not respond.
The Steering Committee members of the UCWC are united in endorsing Nancy as a candidate for Falmouth Select Board, Three Year term. Nancy is dedicated, as we are, to encouraging and extending women’s participation in public service and to building a community that is equitable and inclusive. After careful consideration, Nancy R. Taylor made the decision to run for re-election for Select Board, Three Year term because she wants to continue to do the work knowing full well the time and energy needed. As a lifelong resident of Falmouth, she is both well versed on the issues facing the town and committed to solutions that benefit all. Having spent the last few years building an accomplished and skilled administrative team, Nancy feels the important work is just getting started. She feels stability on the board is critical and we could not agree more.
Nancy has a proven track record of fighting for all Falmouth residents. She knows that solutions for affordable housing, wastewater treatment, coastal resiliency and protecting the environment are intertwined and that every project in town needs to be examined for their impact and efficiencies in all of these areas. As a former student, parent and Superintendent of Falmouth Public schools, Nancy understands that “providing an outstanding education to our children is most crucial to the fabric of our community” and is committed to supporting an inclusive and equitable system for all students.
